Cantina 76 reviews:
This was my very first visit to this establishment. Came in on a Tuesday evening and this place was quite busy. With there being a 15 minute wait on a table, we sat at the hightop by the bar. We got our first contact instantly by the …
This place NEVER disappoints! Our server, Jack, was absolutely awesome and very knowledgable about the menu! I have celiac disease (gluten free) and its so difficult to go out and just have a normal dinner! The drinks were superb! The food …
Came to town to visit my sister and she knows how much I LOVE tacos. She told me about Cantina 76 and I knew we just had to try it. …
Can’t come without ordering a trio – this time we got the bean and queso dip instead of the guacamole and it was delicious. Fish taco and veggie taco are always good, also got a special bang bang shrimp taco that was really good. Jalapeño marg was not bad but strongggg
The Cantina catering team is getting nothing but great feedback from our group! We ordered traditional and pork tacos last week for a big luncheon crowd, and everyone was impressed! Thank you!
Excellent place. Nice enclosed patio with heaters that welcomed my dog. I do not know what a few others complained about. Reasonable price for the meal. Have sure paid more elsewhere. Good selection of items. Service right on. Will go back again. Try the place think you will like it
Went on Labor Day and got seated quickly, especially for prime dinner time. Food was great and so was the service. Bartender was awesome, she was one of the hardest working I’ve seen. When you go, try the “dirty queso” for starters, you won’t regret. Lots of choices, everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. Check them out!
One of my favorite places in Columbia. You know it’s a great place to eat when they are ALWAYS busy but the employees are happy and working hard to serve everyone in a timely manner. Great drinks and the tacos are on point. Added bonus that the meal will not break the bank. Highly recommend the veggie or chicken teriyaki taco.
Tacos were so good and full of flavor. I had a Devine margarita it was good but think next time will just get a Texas margarita. Prices were perfect, me and spouse ate for under $45. Will definitely look forward to returning. Nice change and loved the neighborhood.
We had Cantina 76 cater our rehearsal dinner and we couldn’t ask for better food or service. Brandy, the manager, walked me through the process and gave me invaluable advice to make sure we would have everything we needed for the dinner. …
Always great. I have been to this one and the one in Charleston! Always consistent and staff are always friendly! Street tacos are yummy. Anything you pick will be amazing. Try the Trio AP.
Went here after moving our son to Columbia. There was 5 of us and we intentionally ordered different items so we could experience a lot of the menu…every single item we ordered was delicious! And the cocktail menu was a hit, too. If mexican food is your thing, Cantina 76 is your spot!
Excellent food!! We got the buffalo chicken taco and the shrimp something taco. Very nice. Still hot when got them. We went for lunch so not crowded and got our food fast. Not you average Mexican restaurant!
Great place! Gluten free options, had the corn tacos and they where delicious and didn’t make me sick! Staff is great as well! We will go back!
Your average non Mexican taco restaurant.
The guacamole and chips are really good and most of the tacos are good.
I also recommend the brownies!
The restaurant is clean and well decorated. I’ve always had great service. The food is not authentic Latino. It is all very Americanized.
Always love visiting Cantina 76!! The margaritas are smooth going down and the taco varieties you can’t beat! Will definitely be back… again and again and again! 💞 …
The service and the atmosphere are fantastic my dog and I will eat alot of tacos in our lifetime and getting to see Stephen Garcia in a cowboy hat and a perfect blonde smile makes hanging out at the other Williams Brice worth it everytime I missed to bad I missed Octoberfest.
The restaurant itself is great; it had a pleasant air-conditioned setting cutting the heat off this summer night. All in all, if you’re looking for a delicious dinner, great service, and a good time, do check it out.
This has got to be one of the best taco places ever. I live in Charlotte but it’s well worth the drive to Columbia. Great food and great atmosphere!
Pretty good tacos (had them all and all are good). Atmosphere is also one of the best for dining, but it can be a little loud at either of their locations in Columbia. The last two times we visited, we felt that the cooks or chefs were …
Mexamerican restaurants normally are not my thing. However the family wanted to try something close to our hotel so we decided to visit Cantina 76. WoW! Food was great. Our server, Breanna was amazing. I highly recommend this place.
The tacos are phenomenal. Have gone many times and the food and staff have never disappointed.
The place was nice, a bit crowded. Server was very attentive ! I got fried chicken tacos, which were very good! Also got Teriyaki chicken taco it was ok. I tried my daughter’s surf and turf taco and I thought the steak was tough. …
Came on a busy Friday night for pick-up, but my food only took less than the 15min drive there! Service was great, and the tacos were good too. I loved the vegetarian options. My only complaint is that it is a tad bit pricey, but still delicious. Will probably come back after I get paid, LOL.
Great food and atmosphere. It was a perfect day for patio searing which we enjoyed. The Devine and Lucky Charm drinks were everything. The surf and Turf taco gave EVERYTHING that needed to be given!!! Service was pretty good, a little more …
Great Margaritas and Great Tacos! I had the Devine Margarita, surf and turf taco, fish taco, and traditional. Loved them all! Great food, great booze, great atmosphere!
Great food! Loved everything! We had chicken ranch taco and supreme enchilada.
The food was good and well portion. The price was fair. We had a wonderful waitress. They could take some time though and clean the place up a bit better is the only draw back. The cement patio looks worse then my shop floor.
Great tacos on the menu and the specials are always something unique. Tonight I had pork belly with blueberry bbq sauce and fried onions (the special), Puruvian shrimp (in the middle) and jalapeno shrimp (on the right). They also have …
I normally eat the Cantina 76 on Main St. The one on Main St was packed the day we wanted to get some so we drove out to the other location in Downtown. It wasn’t as busy. Our waitress that day did seem to have her mind elsewhere that day. But our food was good and we enjoyed celebrating my mother’s birthday.
Consistently good food and service. While not authentic Mexican food, Cantina has great tacos and other AmeriMex selections. The Peruvian shrimp taco is a solid choice every time.
Came to Cantina 76 with our church group and man it was good! Highly recommend the Teriyaki Chicken Taco and Fried Chicken Tacos.
