The bacon wrap enoki is awesome. Chicken thigh is pretty good too. The rest is so so. Like the agedashi tofu and scallop are not worth the $$. Make a reservation for this place!

Price is a little high but I like the new outdoor dining setup.
We got a few skewers (my favorite was the heart) and shared a bowl of ramen. The lamb chops were good and the fried octopus was good as well.

Good variety. Love that I can just order by number of skewers straight on the menu. Things I liked included the gizzards, kalbi with sauce, chicken hearts, shishito peppers, tongue, scallops, and oyster mushrooms. I thought the shiitake was undercooked. The quail eggs were a little over. Eggplant and tofu Agedashi was wonderful.

Really tasty skewers with fast turnaround. The food comes out within 15 minutes. They’ve got their operation running like a lean ship. It’s very loud and the wait staff is always running around, so be ready to wave them down if you need service. Be sure to make a reservation or else they can’t guarantee you a table on busy days

Their eggplants are great. I recommend their pork belly skewer. I’m a sucker for pork belly. I also recommend their fish cake skewer.

The agedashi tofu, chicken gizzard, pork cheek were the stand outs. I wouldn’t get dessert here though, nothing to write home about!

Great place for izakaya. Make sure to make a reservation. It’s quite a busy spot and there may be a time limit.

Tasty Japanese charcoal grilled skewers. Good amount of variety. Went on a Thursday night and it was still lively.

Hilarious misspellings and amazingly delicious food. See picture for veggie skewers called bacon. The bowl with egg yolk contains ground chicken and rice, also amazing.

Food quality is pretty good! This place is small and dark. They take reservations.

Good value yakitori restaurant and good selection of food. We ordered 13 different items and the check came out to be $65 and we were stuffed! Small place so make reservation ahead otherwise the wait takes between 30 – 45 minutes.

Quick stop for bites with friends. Felt like an izakaya – the menu goes well with a cold beer! Highly recommend the mackerel karaage (seasonal special) and the beef kalbi skewer. Service was fast and efficient, don’t expect a lot of small talk or discussion on menu items.

Good yakitori. Relatively inexpensive. Call in the morning and leave msg for reservation, they call back around 3 to 4. Parking is tougher so come early.

Excellent food (beef intestine, black cod, chicken rice bowl, skewer/”yakitori” platter, and chicken karaage). Friendly and fast service. A bit rushed since you only get an hour at the tables from the time you check in (should be from …

One of my favorite Japanese spots in the Bay. Known for their yakitori, they don’t disappoint on other fronts with a delicious roasted duck topped with jalapeños or their black sesame tan tan men ramen. The broth was incredibly flavorful but don’t hesitate to add a little more chili 🌶 oil to the tantanmen for extra spice. …

A great spot for skewers! Worth going even though it gets busy and is slightly pricey. The scallops and chicken skin are divine! Expect to pay up to 50 to eat well.
