Oldest bar in Sacramento and a fun place for live music and cheap drinks. Monday nights they have a guest chef serving something completely random and it is always good!

This was my first visit to Old ironsides for a private birthday party. I felt like I was walking back in time and I loved it. I’m originally from New York and spent a lot of time in Chicago and really all around the world this place could tell stories if the walls could talk.

Great bar, great lunch service. Really hope this place doesn’t change too much with the new ownership!

This is Old School bar with cheap selection to get a Cold One or hear live musical artists! Always a fun crowd, sometimes better musical acts than others but way too much enjoyment not to attend!

I’ve been going here on and off for years. They have open mic on Wednesday nights which can be pretty fun after a couple of beers and shots. Sierra Nevada in a bottle just the way I like it!

Really nice staff, taps weren’t hooked up but decent selection of beers in cans. Enjoyed the bands playing.

The “new” Ironsides has all the same great features, with the addition of red flocked gold wallpaper. It’s still a great place to watch live music, with great drinks at the bar. We were ID screened at the door.

Was walking around and stumbled in for lunch, best hamburger I have had in a long time! Great service and great old school atmosphere, give them a try you won’t be disappointed!
