Orsa & Winston reviews:
Good fine dining experience. Place is very limited in capacity so make sure you reserve ahead of time. Parking is a pain but it’s worth it. Every dish was great. I am a fan of Japanese and Italian food. I don’t usually like fusion …
Fantastic dining experience and the food was amazing! We made the reservation a month in advance on OpenTable. I recommend ride share to the restaurant since parking is limited and the surrounding area is not the best. …
I went there with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. Orsa & Winston is a fabulous restaurant with a reasonable price, given it is a Michelin-starred restaurant in 2021 and 2019. The menu is fixed, which means you don’t need to think …
Fine dining but confused and messy composition
– Ambiance – …
Was blown away by this restaurant. My favourite dish was the uni risotto and my least favourite dish was the bay scallops. Food was amazing and so was the service. So glad we tried this place out.
Orsa & Winston have 6 tables and few chairs in the bar, so I had reservations. There foods was beautiful decoration and they made special sauce each dishes that was good combination with foods. They served organic wines from Europe those tasting was great experience.
O&W. Just wow. The 6 course meal ended up being 10 courses courtesy of the chef. Delicious until the end. Reservation only so be sure to get on the list!
Fantastic place to get dinner. 10/10 for ambiance. 10/10 for food. 10/10 for service. It was definitely a treat. Didn’t really know what was going to be served until you arrived and sat down. The dishes were all unique and flavorful. Don’t want to spoil too much but would go back for sure.
You can tell a lot of thought went into this delightful tasting menu. The satsuki rice porridge is a must-try.
This place gracefully combines Asian and Italian cuisine while still keeping the essence of both. The wine pairing perfectly complemented the tasting menu. One of the best dining experiences I ever had.
Absolutely amazing dinner and experience with the pacing of the dishes. Received many complimentary dishes and excellent service.
Wonderful dinner! This place achieves the sweet spot for a one Michelin star restaurant. Beautiful presentation, creative flavors (but still delicious), quality and high-end ingredients. The $125/person tasting menu is honestly a steal for …
I decided to indulge a little by dining at Orsa and Winston on my birthday. I opted for the 5-course vegetarian tasting menu and beverage pairing and, although I was unsure what to expect from Japanese Italian fusion, I was not …
5 course tasting menu that came with many extra “gifts” we they just re-opened. The gifts ensured we were full – food was very tasty with interesting flavours, service was attentive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was sophisticated.
We had the 5 course tasting menu and the food was fantastic. Well deserved if it’s status. On top of that, the chef constantly sent out complimentary dishes which eventually made the 5 course meal an 11 course one. Highly highly recommend
My wife and I loved O & W, but there is no way it should have only $$. Don’t get me wrong; it was worth the money, but you are certain to drop $150/person minimum. The food and service are top notch, and we highly recommend this restaurant. But it’s not cheap.
Tasting menu on 12/26 was fabulous. We also added the wagyu tartare and the roasted bone marrow… because bone marrow! Every dish was wonderful and stood out on it’s own. Service was impeccable. Thanks, Orsa & Winston for a wonderful anniversary dinner.
I must update my list of fav brunch spots in LA to include O&W. On weekend noon it was not crowded – still lively, and I enjoyed the sights of the sunlit street and the open kitchen on the opposite ends of the space. The best of the day was …
Looking for somewhere new in downtown LA, went there for brunch with my wife, attentive service & great food, mainly seafood based menu; we had the tuna tonnato plus the rice porridge as well as the green barley porridge with smoked fish, …
A fabulous restaurant with very reasonable lunch prices. I got the grain bowl with a shoyu egg and it was delicious! Cute atmosphere and good service with top notch food.
Came during brunch. Simple looking restaurant from the outside. Park at a lot next door for $5 at that time.
Japanese breakfast omakase: thumbs up! …
Excellent service and fantastic food. I made a reservation (required) 3 months in advance for New Years Eve dinner (which had a lot of open space then). They contacted me to confirm I wanted to keep my reservation with their special menu. …
Last night, we had the best dinner ever! We were so excited to try out some delicacies. The food was delicious, and they have many options which are perfect because I think that after eating there myself, my taste buds will be satisfied for at least another day or two.
The chef truly seems to understand Asian fusion well and nearly everything from our course was perfect. I appreciate that there was a good balance of richness and brightness in each dish so every single bite felt “clean” and not …
What a unique experience! Came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint.
Had an absolutely fabulous experience on our anniversary at Orsa & Winston! The wait staff was incredibly attentive and extremely knowledgeable about all of the items on the menu. The six course menu also came replete with several add-on …
Not that they are truly trained and well wishers to ni no Kuni to ni no Kuni a lot here this afternoon if that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 voice na na na sain to ni no tention bro I was literally awesome and also a desert bike was literally awesome and …
Uni yes! we love the appetizer and the dessert is so smooth!
Second time and didn’t disappoint. The wine pairing was solid. Each selection truly complemented the lovely and delicious dish. Favorite was the scallops.
Service was excellent, attentive and unobtrusive.
They gave us so many extra courses. The French waiter was pro at what he did. We sat at the counter. Meet Joseph the chef and had a really good experience. I’m a big fan. Drank a bottle of sake. Matched nice with the food.
We had a party of 8 with the 5 course tasting menu. The food was excellent. Every dish tasted incredible. The server was great and knowledgeable about their wines. However, I’m taking away one star because the pacing was way too slow. …
We ordered the entire menu. The dishes are hit and miss – I like them overall, but I don’t know if I would come back again. It take 45 mins for taking order and serving food – if you are hangry, take that into account
