Nicely prepared food with thoughtful, attentive service. Gnocchi was light and fluffy with cracked black pepper and truffles. The sole was delicate with a white wine caper sauce, served over spinach. The limoncello cake was light and delicious.

Food’s delicious and really enjoyed a good Barolo after a long time. Friendly staff, really prompt service and nice neighborhood in Gaslight to walk around after dinner.

Amazing place. They treat you like family. The food is all from scratch. Super good and im sure Nonna is cooking in the back. Excellent wines from around the world, along with beers not normally served in the states..such as french beer. A must go when close to san diego.

Meh the food quality was OK. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but the pasta special was mismatch of a lot of things. My friends liked their food and we loved the wine. Great ambiance, outdoor dining.

The best Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp Quarter on 5th Avenue. If you’re looking for top notch quality Italian/Seafood, look no further. Cannot beat the location and the amazing friendly service here. Come hungry and come often! This place is the best!

This is our second time here. We were here last night.
We came back for the food but we also came back because of Analisa, our waitress. She’s attentive and very funny. The food and the service is the best.

One of the best restaurants we visit in San Diego. Really good food with fair price. You pay for quality not location ! Same of the restaurant in this city are way overprice to the quality they present. Service was good too. I could easily …

Food was very good, the only problem was my seafood risotto had some broken shell pieces in it, I ate around it and enjoyed the meal but it made me concerned. The staff were very friendly and working hard. However, the service was slow to start, maybe because it was a bit busy.

Did you know that Osteria Panevino is the oldest Italian restaurant in our Gaslamp District? It’s been around for 30+ years and in my opinion is one of most delicious Italian restaurants I have been to in San Diego. …

A classic Italian experience. They are not trying too hard to be hip and keep up with the ostentatious restaurants in the Gaslamp. Our excellent server was even from Italy.

Had a wonderful meal here. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The food is excellent. There was a street musician performing across the street which added to the experience. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious Italian food in the heart of Gaslamp!! For the appetizer, we got the bruschetta which is the perfect app for two before you load up on the main course. (Not to mention they also put complimentary bread and butter.) The …

Service was incredibly fast & lobster ravioli is the best I’ve tried, it had good quality lobster inside it & the sauce was delicious.
My college didn’t think his chicken Parm was quite so remarkable, but the appetizer we all had was great. And the rest of the party loved their food as well.

Absolutely amazing. I love Cioppino and this was one of the best I have had. The seafood was piled high, the quality and quantity was almost too much to handle. If you like Italian Food (and who doesn’t) you need to give it a try.

OP is a restaurant that I always visit when I am in San Diego. It is the oldest Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp quarter, and it never disappoints. The Cioppino, ossobucco(recommended by the Tuscan waitress) and the seafood linguine are delicious. Long Live to OP. I look forward to my next visit.
