Fast, courteous got us in and out! Very authentic. Even had pre-made sandwiches and fresh fruit.

The only place in Sac that makes a close to genuine New Orleans Muffuletta. It’s packed with meat, it’s a great deal, and can be shared between two people.

What do I love at Pennisi’s Deli??? The lasagna, the meatballs, chilli, fruit bowl, I love it all. So delicious.

We use Pennisi’s for catering all the time. They are always prompt, friendly and the food is great. They are also flexible for those odd catering items such as a fruit bowl or hard boiled eggs. They have great lunches, such as sandwiches and hot items, with outside and inside seating. Bill and his team are A#1!

I not in the area a lot, but when I am, I love to stop here for lunch. This place sells the best deli food I’ve ever had. I still don’t know how the Subway next door is still in business.

A small sandwich shop with lots of choices. Many of my choices were sold out, hence the 4 star review. I heard the chicken breast sandwich was delicious but it was sold out. I ordered the turkey & avocado sandwich on sourdough (Dutch crunch was sold out). FULL of fresh sliced deli turkey, avocado slices, lettuce and tomato. Delicious!

Excellent turkey avocado sandwich! The bread roll was surprisingly really good? The rest of it was good too but the bread was surprisingly great! Sometimes sandwich roll bread is a cardboard flavored afterthought….

Great spot for breakfast or coffee! The Ham, Egg and Cheese croissant was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Also, the mocha latte was made with care and was excellent. Pennisi’s will be a regular stop for me whenever I visit Sacramento.
