I come to this restaurant a lot and am amazed at how delicious the food turns out every single time. 100% recommend going if you are visiting or even if you live in LA. Great atmosphere, amazing hostess and owner, and even a DJ on the weekends!

Met a client at Mauro’s this morning at 11:15. I ordered the chicken parmesan. He had the spaghetti, which I tried. Both dishes were very good. Indoor dining wasn’t open. We sat in the patio. There was outdoor dining in the parking lot too.

The steam was still coming up off the fantastic linguini served with fresh clams, shrimp, salmon, brussel sprouts, peas, cherry tomatoes and roasted garlic I had. Amazing service, great ambiance an all around splendid experience. Nice menu and various chalkboard specials.

Loved it! Sunday bottomless bellinis for $22… what? Yes. I had the porcini con penne. A rich smooth sherry cream sauce. Yummy! Two sweet djs spinning? Thank you. Top me off with a double espresso for the road. I’ll be back.

A gem. Reminds me of bistros I’ve visited in Europe. Hard to find, though, as its main entrance is positioned in what most would consider the rear of the building. There’s hardly anything to see from the street. However, it’s extremely popular and always jumping.

Great place for breakfast! Found thru groupon deal. Simple menu w a twist. Scrambled eggs had kale tomatoes and mushrooms paired w delicious crispy roast potatoes. Blueberry pancakes had extra fruit (more blueberries, a whole banana and strawberries) on top. Holiday dinner lamb chops sound divine! May return for that.
