Uncle Paulie’s Downtown reviews:
I live in Downtown Los Angeles, I just so happen to be leaving the nutrition shop one street over and notice this place. I’m always down for a good sandwich so I had to try it. …
Always a great taste! I like sandwiches so naturally I get cravings for a deli sandwich or chicken sub from here. I had ‘the Carol’ with hot spice spread recently. Do plan on spending an average of $15 for just one sandwich. …
One of my coworkers told me to come to this place since I like to get sandwiches for lunch. I usually get Italian sandwiches so that’s what I got when I ordered here. The sandwich is a little bit more expensive than my usual spot but this …
Uncle Paulie’s is a very welcome addition to DTLA. There’s a void of good deli’s in Los Angeles, especially East Coast style delis. Uncle Paulie’s hits the spot. There’s a small counter inside, and a handful of tables outside. …
Had the Franny, not big on veggie only sandwiches but man the fried eggplant was super bomb on there. Legit was fire as hell man. 100% gonna hit the spot again. Great spot to stop on my bike rides
Great addition to the neighborhood. Definitely will be back for the ham egg and cheese and can’t wait to try the sandwiches. Please add coffee to the menu and I promise I’ll never go to Verve again.
You can never go wrong with an Italian and make it spicy. Beyond happy there is one in DTLA, even though the West Hollywood location will always be day one. …
I got the Carmine it was delish and I’m from Chicago so beef is a religion. The spicy is chili so don’t mess around. That sesame bread with the mozzarella, beef ang real brown gravy (not beef au jus) was evil. I will be back and the …
Got breakfast sandwich was not happy. Said it came in kaiser roll and it came on a hero. With 1 egg?! Bread to egg ration was not good way to much bread and they must have thrown half a brick of cheese was almost un eatable. I order here a lot the lunch sandwiches are good maybe stay away from the breakfast
This was my first visit to Uncle Paulie’s. The girl who waited on me was both friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I chose the meatball sandwich. It was fantastic! The meatballs are hand made at the shop. I would strongly recommend this place.
Delicious sandwiches! Used to go there almost every weekend. It is a shame they are only open during the week now. 🙁
I love them sooo much! The portions are very good the ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are made to order
